Objective
You'd like to manage and control your IT assets, their configuration and relationships in a CMDB so that you're always up-to-date, have complete histories and can do it all automatically. In addition, you'd like to have installations, moves and configuration changes fully documented in a central database. These technical details should also be augmented by business management data and organizational elements such as costs or cost-center-based cost allocations.
