| USU receives LACP Platinum Award |

The League of American Communications Professionals (LACP) has honoured USU AG with a Vison Award in Platinum in recognition of the companys 2009 annual report. USUs report was ranked 14rd among about 4,000 companies from 25 countries, signifying an improvement of 10 places versus last year's positioning. LACP honors USUs 2009 annual report with a Platinum award in the category "Software" - ahead of Nemetschek, and other bigger players in that field. What is more, the company received two gold awards in a separate category focusing on the best creativity.
The jury, which comprised of international communications experts, awarded USUs publication with 99 out of a possible 100 points. USU obtained the maximum score of 10 points in each category not only for the assessment criterion Report Narrative but also for the Report Cover, Creativity, Message Clarity, Report Financials, and Information Accessibility.
Under the title "Die Krise. Eine Gegendarstellung", USUs 2009 annual report outlines, that the company is successful especially in these times of economic crisis. "This excellent result is extremely gratifying and shows that, besides our technologies, our publications too satisfy the highest quality standards," says Bernhard Oberschmidt, CEO of USU Software.
