Arriving by car from Autobahn A81 (Leonberg-Heilbronn)
To USU in Moeglingen, Spitalhof (headquarters)
Leave Autobahn A81 at the Ludwigsburg-Süd exit.
Turn left toward Moeglingen. Keep going straight ahead on the Moeglingen bypass.
After about 800 meters, turn left toward Stammheim and then immediately turn left again toward Moeglingen.
At the first street, turn left (Kirchgartenstrasse).
Go to the end of Kirchgartenstrasse, and the turn right onto Wagnerstrasse.
After about 100 meters, the USU parking lot will be on your left.
If this lot is full, drive about 10 meters farther down Wagernerstrase and then turn left onto Münchinger Strasse. After about another 100 meters, there will be a parking lot (Friedhofsparkplatz) on the left. You can park there. If you happen to drive right through Moeglingen, please be sure to observe the speed limit on Ludwigsburger Strasse (automated speed cameras!).
To USU in Moeglingen, 44 Bahnhofstrasse
Leave Autobahn A81 at the Ludwigsburg-Süd exit.
Turn left toward Moeglingen.
Then immediately turn right into Moeglingen.
After about 800 meters, make a sharp right (at the Volksbank) onto Bahnhofstrasse.
After about 400 meters, you will reach 44 Bahnhofstrasse.
The entrance is at the of the building (near the crossing gate). There is a parking place on the opposite side, just to the left.
From Stuttgart Airport to USU
Arriving by taxi
Take a taxi from Stuttgart Airport to Moeglingen.
Travel time is about 40 minutes.
The taxi fare will be about 50.00 euro.
Arriving by city train (S-Bahn)
Take S-Bahn S2 or S3 from the Stuttgart Airport to the main train station in Stuttgart.
From the main train station in Stuttgart, take the S4 (going toward Marbach) or the S5 (going toward Bietigheim) to Ludwigsburg.
Upon arriving in Ludwigsburg, take a taxi to Moeglingen (about 6 kilometers).
The total travel time from the Stuttgart Airport to Moeglingen will be about 75 minutes.
From the Stuttgart main train station to USU
Arriving by city train (S-Bahn)
From the main train station in Stuttgart, take the S4 (going toward Marbach) or the S5 (going toward Bietigheim) to Ludwigsburg.
Upon arriving in Ludwigsburg, take a taxi to Moeglingen (about 6 kilometers).
The total travel time from the Stuttgart main train station to Moeglingen will be about 35 minutes.
Arriving by express train
Take the express train from the Stuttgart main train station to Ludwigsburg.
Upon arriving in Ludwigsburg, take a taxi to Moeglingen (about 6 kilometers).
The total travel time from the Stuttgart main train station to Moeglingen will be about 30 minutes.
The express train has the following advantage over the city train (S-Bahn): You will only have to change platforms and won't have to make a five-minute walk to the city-train stop.
When purchasing your train ticket, you should be sure to have it cover a trip from the Stuttgart main train station directly to Ludwigsburg. The ticket will then be good for both the S-Bahn and the express train.
